AC organizes events, conferences, congresses and didactical programs in order to promote: a deep knowledge of Africa; global and intercultural education, peace and justice among peoples, international volunteering, sustainable economic models, sensitization on fundraising.

AC is supporting 21.000 beneficiaries including AIDS’ orphans, children in vulnerable conditions such as disabled and street children and HIV-positive mothers in Kenya (Nairobi), Tanzania (Iringa) and Zambia (Ndola, Kitwe, Lusaka).
AC operates with concrete interventions in the following fields:
- nutrition (20 nutritional centers, 13 school canteens);
- hospitality (8 centre for street children, 2 nursery schools);
- education and formation (3 social centers in Nairobi, Iringa e Lusaka, professional courses, economic contributions for scholastic fees and didactical material);
- health prevention and assistance (maternal and child health, anti-HIV-AIDS therapy, malaria and TB, physiotherapy and schools for disabled);
- microcredit for self-development projects.
L’Africa Chiama is an NPO (Non Profit Organization) pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 460 / ’97 that has subscribed the “Charter of Principles and Quality Criteria for Distance Support” in order to guarantee transparence, efficiency and quality to supporters and beneficiaries.
AC has also subscribed the regional register of Volunteering Associations (Decree n.100 of 30.04.01) and the one of Associations operating for peace, solidarity and international cooperation (Decree n.8 dated 2.02.06 of the Marche Region).
AC has obtained the state recognition of legal personality by the Pesaro-Urbino Prefecture (Decree No. 553 of 22.05.06).
AC is an NGO (Non Governmental Organization) recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (Lg. No. 49 of 26/02/87). It is also recognized as OSC Civil Society Organization by AICS Italian Cooperation and Development Agency, registration decree on the 2016/337/000295/5 list.
Ac is a training institution accredited by the Marche Region pursuant to decree 160 / SIM of 1/4/2015.
AC adhere to the Network No.Di – No Discrimination Marche with note of the Regional Ombudsman Marche n. 2460 of 25/11/2016
The association is also registered under number 1026 of the Register of associations that carry out activities in the field of combating discrimination referred to in article 6 of Legislative Decree 9 July 2013 n. 215, at U.N.A.R.
Finally, the association is an accredited body for voluntary civil service projects both at the Italian headquarters and at the offices of Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia.

The main goal of the project “Together to educate and accompany foreign minors” is to favor social and work inclusion of Unaccompanied Foreign Minors who live in the communities of Fano, Fossombrone, Cagli and Pergola. The specific objectives are: Objective 1: to increase the level of sensitization of the pastoral community on the issue of hospitality. Objective 2: to encourage the enrollment of Voluntary Tutors of Minors at the local courts.
